Here are some quick updates for you guys, just so you know the site isn’t dead! I’m working on a new style of WordPress layout, which is why my updates have been so infrequent. Hopefully now that I’m done with school I can devote more time to this website again

New Tumblr Art – I added two more crackship pieces that I created. Here’s a sample:

3 Wallpapers – I uploaded these last month, but never got around to posting about them in the updates. Game of Thrones and Poison Study.

King of the North [Game of Thrones] featuring Robb Stark – Two versions: black & white, and color. I never realized just how much I liked the character of Robb Stark until I realized that I am subconsciously using him in my art more and more. I got inspired by the new episodes of Game of Thrones and by the techniques I used in a Tumblr art (see above), so I decided to make a wallpaper. I particularly was pleased with the text and the coloring, both for the color version and the black and white version.

You’ve Poisoned Me [Poison Study] featuring Yelena/Valek – I never anticipated loving the first of the Study Series by Maria V. Snyder as much as I did. I particularly loved the relationship between Yelena and Valek, which is what I tried to capture in this first wallpaper I did of them. I used Jessica Parker Kennedy as Yelena and Ben Barnes as Valek, since they seemed to match the descriptions both personality-wise and in terms of looks and age. The text is a book quote.

You Can Have Everything [Poison Study] featuring Yelena/Valek – Again, another wall with Yelena and Valek, with a quote from the (first) book. I wanted to try something different with the coloring and the positions of the images. It looks a little more hastily put together but I really liked how it turned out nonetheless.
